The trojan zone founders ('19-'20)
This page is dedicated to the students and advisers who first founded The Trojan Zone and led it to its current success. Establishing and starting The Trojan Zone was no easy task. It took time, energy, passion, and much more from these people below to create something that will leave a lasting legacy at Platteview High School.
A BRIEF HISTORY:
The team first started with Garrett Johnson as the lone manager and owner in the first semester. He had to start the business from the ground up. He first started with getting a website designed. From there, he established a method to pay with credit cards, something the school had never done before. After that, he moved to designing products and delivering orders.
In the second semester, three more students - Sully Stane, Emma Richards, and Abby Husing - were brought on the team. Sully Stane came onto the team as the Co-Manager. He helped Garrett run the website, deliver orders, and help with customer service. Emma Richards and Abby Husing joined the Promotions Team. They helped with organizing, sorting, and folding, as well as promotional opportunities and running our Twitter page. Emma and Abby were also very creative and neat, something Garrett and Sully were missing!:)
Towards the end of the second semester, The Trojan Zone team selected a new team to replace them for the following year. With a newly created precedent of hard work, determination, and drive, picking the next team was no easy task. This new team had to pass an interview process to hold them to the same high standard that was created before them. With a new team finally picked, the very first Trojan Zone team is happy to say that we are confident that the next team will continue our tradition and lead the store to new heights,
The four students and two advisers below gave up their time to create something more than themselves. The time and effort that went into creating The Trojan Zone was immense. These six people define what a Trojan should be and stand for. Scroll down to meet and read the stories of the creators, the helpers, and the friends that took this journey.

The two people below are very special to us at the Trojan Zone. These two advisors helped get our team started. They dealt with all of the questions, put in their time, and even listened to our occasional complaints. :) The Trojan Zone could not be where it is today without these two wonderful advisors below.
mr. Jim JenningsMr. Jennings, true to his humble nature, did not want any recognition for his role in our success. If you were to ask him, he would tell you that he did nothing but in fact, he was an instrumental part in our success. We worked in his room every single day. He gave up his time and peace to answer every single question we had, provide guidance, and mentor us in an unforgettable experience. Once again, a very big thank you to Mr. Jim Jennings for his work, support, and dedication to The Trojan Zone.

mrs. teresa starksMrs. Starks helped lay the groundwork for The Trojan Zone to run and thrive. Last year, she would give up every Friday morning to help deliver food. She helped The Trojan Zone go from a small food delivery business to a school wide accessory and apparel store. Once again, a very big thank you to Mrs. Teresa Starks for her work, support, and dedication to The Trojan Zone.

Last but not least, we thank the person who made and developed our website.
Joe LeJoe Le made this website out of the kindness of his heart. He is a lifelong friend of the Johnson family and he jumped on the chance to help Garrett accomplish this. Without his help, The Trojan Zone would not have been possible.
Joe Le has over 20 years of marketing experience and owns his own marketing company, "Haibua". If you ever need a website designed or some marketing expertise, we here at Platteview High School and at The Trojan Zone could not recommend anyone better.
